- Linda's short story, "Herz unter Eis" (Heart in Ice) appears in Club Premiere Bertelsmann's anthology Weihnachtsstern, Lichterglanz, edited by Iris Graedler

October, 2007

- German rights for In a Far Country are aquired by Wilhelm Goldmann Verlag. Book Club sub-rights have been sold to Bertelsmann Der Club. 

- Danish rights for The Linnet Bird have been acquired by Borgens Forlag. 

September, 2007

- Tundra Books releases the new edition of the young adult historic novel Promise Song on its tenth anniversary of publication

- Linda's short story, "Get Down Tonight" appears in the anthology A/Cross Sections: New Manitoba Writing, published by J. Gordon Shillingford Publishing

- Linda visits with editors at Headline in London, Bertelsmann in Berlin, and JPV in Reykjavik

- Portuguese Book Club rights for The Linnet Bird are acquired by Bertrand Editora Lda

- Librairie Plon, France, publishes L'Oiseau du Cachemire, the trade book edition of The Linnet Bird

March

- The Moonlit Cage was nominated for the McNally Robinson Book of the Year and the Margaret Laurence Award for Fiction in the 2007 Manitoba Writing and Publishing Awards. 

- The Moonlit Cage was published by Crown Publishers in the US.

- BBC Audiobooks released The Moonlit Cage, read by Nina Wadia. 

February

- Headline Publishers in England released The Moonlit Cage in mass market format; in Canada, it was released by McArthur & Co.  

- France Loisirs Book Club released the French edition of The Moonlit CageLa Rose Rebelle.

January

- In December 2006 and January 2007 Linda traveled through India, researching her next book, In a Far Country. Set in 1870s Punjab, this is the third in Linda's "Indian Trilogy".
