Unieboek has purchased Dutch rights for The Lost Souls of Angelkov. Russian publisher Hemiro has published The Saffron Gate. Plon has purchased French rights to The Lost Souls of Angelkov. Verlagsgruppe Random House has purchased German rights to The Lost Souls of Angelkov. Croatian publisher Znanje has purchased rights to The Saffron Gate. Trade publisher Page und Turner, an imprint of Wilhelm Goldmann Verlag, has published The Saffron Gate in German as Der Duft von Safron. Linda has signed a two-book offer with Random House Canada. The first novel, The Lost Souls of Angelkov, is set in 1861 Imperialist Russia. It will be released in 2012. Serbian publisher Alnaria has purchased rights to The Moonlit Cage. Hemiro Publishers has purchased Russian e-rights for The Saffron Gate. Norwegian publisher Damm has purchased rights for The Saffron Gate. Porten i Marakech, the Danish edition of The Saffron Gate, has been released by Borgens Forlag. La Perle du Sud, a French edition of The Saffron Gate, has been released by Editions France Loisirs as their Super Avant Premiere. To research her forthcoming novel, set in Russia in the mid-nineteenth century, Linda boarded the Trans-Mongolian in Beijing, China, and rode to Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia. There she transferred onto the Trans-Siberian to travel through and experience life in Sibera in isolated Ulan Ude, Listvyanka, Irkutsk and Yekaterinberg. She crossed the continental divide and the Ural Mountains into European Russia, where she explored Moscow and St. Petersburg. The Saffron Gate has been released from Headline Publishing Group in A-Format paperback. Oakhill Publishing, UK, has produced audio editions of The Saffron Gate in both cassette and CD form. Der Duft von Safran, a German edition of The Saffron Gate, has been released by Club Premiere Bertelsmann. W dalekim kraju, the Polish edition of In a Far Country, has been released by Swiat Ksiazki. Gouden Saffraan, the Dutch edition of The Saffron Gate, has been released by Unieboek Publishers. Danish publisher Borgen has purchased rights for The Saffron Gate. They will also release The Linnet Bird, published in Denmark in hardcover in 2008, in paperback this year. The mass market edition of The Saffron Gate was released throughout the Commonwealth in February 2010. Unieboek Publishers have released Witte Jasmijn, the Dutch edition of In a Far Country. J'ai Lu has released La Rose Rebelle, a French edition of The Moonlit Cage. A Rosa do Deserto, the Portuguese edition of The Moonlit Cage, has been released by Bertrand Editora.
